The foundation of Dauphin was laid in 1968 when our founder, Friedrich-Wilhelm Dauphin, took a bold step by acquiring the German operations of a British office chair manufacturer. He began importing and distributing these chairs, focusing on the importance of ergonomics for employee well-being and company prosperity. This marked the inception of our enduring commitment to providing human-centered office furniture.
